I wrote this on Friday and forgot to publish it.. so here you go a few days late :)

Jack is one month old today! He has had a good week- he's gained a good amount of weight this week, up to 3 lbs, 1 oz as of this AM! They were worried the weight gain was fluid in his lungs, so they gave him a diuretic and took some x-rays. There was a little fluid, but not bad. He is growing fast, becoming such a cute little chunky monkey!
I read this verse in my devotional this AM and wanted to share- reminds me of how God's plan is perfect and we can't always see that in the midst of certain situations:
"Now we see things imperfectly as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now.". 1 Corinthians 13:12
Matt and I wanted to thank everyone for your amazing generosity- the gift cards, dinners, cards, phone calls, texts- we are just overwhelmed by how incredibly blessed we are. Below is the gift basket that Erin organized and so many of you contributed to- Thank you all!
